Obituary

Sheldon "Shelly" Fogel was born in Chicago on May 16, 1944 to Clare and Morris Fogel and passed away in Akron, OH on July 22, 2022.

He was predeceased by his mom, dad, sister Miriam, first wife Lynne and second wife Caryn. He is survived by his son Scott (Kim), daughter Tracy, step-son David (Molly), three grandchildren and many cousins.

Shelly retired from Binny's Beverage Depot, Maine Township Fire Department, and Morton Grove Emergency Services Disaster Agency. He spent many decades humbly serving the public and those around him.

The funeral will be at Rose Hill Burial Park in Fairlawn, OH on July 25, 2022 at 11 am. Please contact Gordon Memorial Home for virtual attendance via Zoom.

Tuesday 7/26 at 7:00 pm at the Stock Home
Wednesday 7/27 at 7:30 am at Beth El
Thursday 7/28 at 7:00 pm at the Stock Home
Friday 7/29 at 7:30 am at Beth El
Saturday 7/30 at 9:15 am at Beth El
Sunday 7/31 at 9:30 am at Beth El
