Estelle Posen

Estelle Sybil Posen (Esther), our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully on July 15 with her daughters by her side. Esther was a wonderful mother and Bubby who was always there when her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren needed her and her wisdom and comfort. She was truly our family's anchor, her tiny shoulders belied her strength of spirit.

The memories her family have as a whole and individually of this remarkable woman would fill a thousand volumes. Whether remembering vacations and special family gatherings or simply time spent together laughing, talking, shopping, playing scrabble or rummikub; her smile, humor, patience, compassion and above all, her unconditional love for her family was unmatched.
She was a joy and a delight to all who had the honor of knowing her, her friendships lasted years, decades, becoming family as well. She will be sorely missed but in our hearts forever.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Morris and Leah, brothers Raymond and Milton (Mendel) and daughters Anita and Ellen.
She is survived by her daughters Carol (Ron), Elaine (Richard), grandchildren Gayle (Jason), Kay, Laura, Rachel (Adam) and David (Kristen). She is also survived by her great grandchildren Leo, Chanel, Amelia, Ethan, Ben, Sean and Marshall. May her memory be a blessing.
